Our teaching is flexible, interactive and inspirational. Courses can be tailored to fit the teaching time available. Our Enrichment and Volunteering Programme for Schools is particularly recommended for students looking towards a career in healthcare, public service or teaching; in fact, any profession that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and collaborate with other people. Evidence shows that working with Kissing it Better improves students’ confidence and soft skills, as well as giving young people the chance to enhance the lives of older people.

Understanding of imaginative volunteering in health and care environmentsAll KiB courses are based on our ethos of ‘creative thoughtfulness’ and designed to show how simple ideas can make a real difference to the lives of the most vulnerable in society, particularly older people. Our interactive Enrichment & Volunteering Programme for Schools combines online or face-to-face lessons with virtual visits to care homes. Once students have completed this programme, they can join our ongoing volunteering project, giving them the chance to deepen their learning, boost their CVs, and enhance the lives of older people across the country.
